Measuring Pin Dimensions
Although we have many OEM specifications on file, from time to time we may ask you to verify and take measurements yourself so that we can ensure correct fitment of your order.
There are three key pieces of information we will need: Pin Diameter, Centres, Width
Pick up a tape measure and / or vernier caliper
Go to an existing bucket or attachment that fits nicely onto the dipper arm or quick hitch of the excavator
Take measurements A, B, C, D, E as accurately as possible
Hint: Pin diameter measurements are usually of a 5mm increment, so it is common for pins to be 25mm, 30mm, 35mm etc. This is not always the case though, so please contact us if you are unsure.
Let a member of our sales team know your A, B, C, D, E measurements by emailing them to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your order number (if you know it) or the name your enquiry or order was placed under.
We will then confirm with you that everything is satisfactory and as expected.
